Someone attacked me on pve

How is this possible? i was doing a mission called public event crisis. i was going after the bus, i stopped it. then said i became a host. host ? i didn't understand anything, then suddenly a player came and killed me.

You did a PvP Event

It's a PvP event. Now you know you can take part for rewards or just never visit it again.

You did a PvP Event

But I play on the pve server. The game did not warn me that something like this would happen on this server.
