Downloading patch (stuck)

I have been downloading patch for the past 3.4 hours which is the total time play in this game so fun yeah? my Wi-Fi is all decent same goes for my device using a Nitro 5 laptop but am I doing something wrong that the patch download is still 70% for the past hour and haven't moved a muscle I tried closing and downloading it again but still to no avail, any one got any advice that could help with this? or should just give up then?

omg i wasted almost 12GB it's still downloading at 67% and only get 4.9GB of 7.3GB ! why they should download inside the game instead of STEAM download ? i think they are using our PC to MINE because their game recently get Administrator access when u want to run it ! this means they are scamming people and another thing is they didn't fix some Performance bugs u can't truly change game video settings ! there is no AMD FSR and many more problems ! i actually gonna hate this game now

Friend, I found a possible solution. I was having the same problem, so I contacted the internet provider, and a technician came to my house. We couldn't figure out the cause of the problem, so we tried changing the network cable from one port of the router to another, and the problem disappeared for a while. The download started again but then stalled. I then unplugged the cable from the PC and plugged it back in just to test, and the download resumed. This happened every time I disconnected the network cable from the PC or the router, the problem would go away. I kept doing this until the download finished. Haha, we don't know why this happened, but I'm able to play again. Hehe.

i actually fix the problem by using VPN and i already updated the game but why should we doing this inside the game !? and not inside the steam it's self ?! i really can't accept this kind of UPDATE system

My house is totaly dispared with number of chest i just can teleport to it.
Can i have a solution?

Check you have free space on drive. Stoppages like this are typically hardware picnic issues, not the game itself or steam.

Start a new game.

Right click on the game in your library,
Then go to properties.
Go to the once human files/game folder
at the top in search type Patch
It'll bring up 4 or 5 files that contain the word patch.
Delete all of them.
Then load the game and it will reinstall the patches.
I searched for ever trying to fix this. Worked for me.
