Free to play game so many only make character and test the game, then never touch the game anymore. Where im at (PVE Europe) its so empty, its not even funny. There have to better solution for this, they cant be this stupid. Its going to kill the game fast.

yeah my server feelz dead too! I see no one anymore! I think a lot of people moved on!

Hence the server wipes to clear out inactives I guess.

interesting. on my server its the opposite. people intentionally go as far out of the way as possible to find a place away from people lol everyone is headed up to blackheart despite there being nothing there, others are looking for islands. anywhere i go theres people, and the chat is full of conversation at all times.

i wonder why some servers died and others didn't? is there a particular type of server dealing with this? is it mostly new servers that aren't keeping people?

Yes they said they will no longer merge worlds/servers a week ago (I'm not kidding btw). So the server will stay dead, as is mine

The wipes will hopefully fix this, one of the reason wipes will be just fine. Get rid of inactive accounts.

Wow that is crazy I see them all the time, not mobs of them but in dungeon areas run into 5 or 6 doing missions. Motorcycles all the time also.

each server is split into different worlds, can change from teleporter, and most people dont talk they busing killing stuff

Exactly. I have purposefully picked a world that is empty and picked a plot of land that has no houses in sight. It's nice. I like it that way.
However when i attend events, there's people there. I'm on an EU server where we're only in phase 1 right now. Plenty of houses are scattered around near all kinds of resources. But i've noticed some worlds are much busier than others.

I go to locations and see players clearing zones too. I do notice that certain types of locations seem more desirable to people. Rivers, coastal or teleportation areas seem to be hot spots.

Chat means nothing. Many people likely disabled chat due to the frequent billboard style spam of friend codes that took place. I know i was tired of seeing the constant spam and turned off my chat when i was in phase 2 on the NA server. It's worse playing on EU servers because most of the time people speak in lots of languages and i don't understand what lots of people are saying. So i wouldn't be surprised if lots of people just turn off chat unless they're in warbands and hives.

this appears to be fixed-ish. inactive accounts booted from servers which allows room for others to join. oddly, this is most of the population of most of the servers.
