100% CPU usage.

And I'm capped at 60 fps so this is not my cpu. This is unplayable. I don't mind the usage, but the PC is getting too loud to play. Any fix?

Could be CPU, could be bottle necking, I'd make sure my drivers are good, not to many things running in the background. I'm at 60 fps sitting at 40% avg usage for me, assuming less fps is unbearable for you switching lower.

if you're playing in fullscreen try in windowed mode, should drop the CPU usage.

you could also turn your graphics down to low settings and then cap it at 120
My settings are:

Graphics - Very High
Max Frame Rate - 60
Texture Quality - Very High
Render Scale - 100
Anti-Aliasing - Low
Shade - Low
VFX - Low
Draw Distance - Middle
VSync - Disabled (which means enabled)
Motion Blur - Disabled
Vegetation Density - Middle
Detail - Very High

and my CPU sits around 30 to 40 usage I also have google running. If I set the cap to 120 my CPU goes to 50 - 65ish

This happened to both myself and my friend at some point. For some reason totally unclear to either of us, restarting our PCs, not just the game, fixed it. HMM
