Acid is used for smelting high level ore for end game gear and building.
I had a spot where I farmed both but decided to switch over for oil only.
Need those oil for biomissle for PW.
I never did anything that relates to the permits. I am easily able to get all of that with routine farming.
Preserved deviated chops and a run through Blackfell nets me 300-500 acid in 15-20 minutes.
Oil I don't refine to premium. I refine it only to mixed and use that to refine stardust ore into more stardust source for end game ammos and what not.
Premium I get from refinery passes. Even the lowest ones give a decent amount for the effort.
That said, i can just buy a lot of acid for cheap from players(or make myself from sulfur chemist) and refinery permits get me a lot of premium fuel. The passive income of both is pathetic, unless you really dedicate your entire base's power generation to 1 thing.
The one currency im always short on is stardust source. Constant gear recalibration and bio/red plasma missiles, especially red plasma. I just run silos to get more.
Live where you like, don't be a slave to resources.
i'm never have a problem about oil or premium oil just loot from abandon car that it
Yes, this is relatively slow compared to manual farming, (did I mention I hate farming acid mobs or cars) but it's passive and runs in the background (with one small exception, I have to manually move impure acid from the storage tank to the brewing barrels every so often because for some reason the barrels don't yet have pipe intakes), so I can be running legendary content all day long while generating all these materials in the background. I like that trade off.
Exactly. There must be 50 ways to generate both without farming. I don't see any reason to limit yourself to one or the other.
