What to do with Starchrom now
Keeping in mind the general principle that players are not expected to max everything out in one Season, I've decided on a build I enjoy playing and which has been very effective for me, and that this is the build I will work on for all upcoming seasons until I decide to do something different. I'm in the final days of Phase 5 of my first Season.

I have all the armor pieces and weapons I use in the build. Through the Wish Machine I've upgraded one of my weapons to 3 stars, and two of my armor pieces to 3 stars, everything else is still 1 star. All weapons and armor are max calibration. I plan to keep using the Wish Machine to get fragments to keep raising my gear over the next few Seasons.

Question: given this plan, is there anything else I'm missing out on by spending ALL of my Starchrom on the Wish Machine? I really want the BP fragments more than I want to experiment with other builds, so I'm not inclined to spend on other blueprints. What else is there to do with all that juicy Starchrom?

Thanks for any insights or suggestions.

Bucket says save starchrom for the next season's meta.

Within the Seasonal shop, you can use Starchrom to purchase furniture bits. I am sure this shop will change with new scenarios.

You also have to consider your build is moot in a new scenario.

In the new map/scenario we will have northern lands to deal with. Icy lands, cold survival mechanics, and possibly new mobs. With the new scenario, it might be possible certain build are very weak. So Vortex builds may be useless.

I am assuming that we will see more than 1 meta be useless in the new map.

That makes sense, but I find it hard to believe that current decent builds will ever become "useless". Maybe less effective than other builds, but "useless", not so sure about that.

I'm not really interested in the meta, I'm more interested in playing a build that is effective and that I enjoy and from what I can tell by most posts and videos, any build is able to get the job done, if not as fast or efficiently as some others.

But thanks for those thoughts. I like the furniture idea, I might buy some pieces for my house, I do enjoy the building aspect. Thanks for that too.

I think there is an industrial double bed in the that shop. I have one and I am sure I bought it with Starcrom somewhere ... so many menus ...
