... i was speaking about the void/balance mobs not the weapons when i said "rare" (5 days playing in the new season and i maybe encounter 10-12) . I dont really think you understood my comment at all .
You can transfer materials for eternaland (not very efficient but you can)
Especially considering what they usually drop.
Morphic, Treasure, Accessories in Broken Delta and Iron River drops stardust
Elite Deviant
I'm 7 hours in new season, lvl 28 with 7/7 calibrated tier III 4 stars Last Valour wrecking havok on bosses, with tier III Legendary gears and 700 Stardust. Just have to wait couple days more for Phase 2.
What I did is make Motorcycle and beeline for Iron River ASAP. So much easier to farm materials. My base is next to Wanderer stop so I don't run out of mixed fuel.
Btw I still have 11k points to transfer more stuff from Space Time backpack. I'm still deciding between bringing over the 3 stars Last Valour tier V last season or just the Calibration BP to craft 4 stars once I hit lvl 40.
The only thing constrained so far is Starchrom. I spent 18k to make 4 stars Last Valour from 3 stars and only have 20k left. Need another 80 frag to make 5 stars.
I just avoid any enemy that's sporting the voodoo doll, which includes the morphic crates you occasionally come across. Luckily not all have them. But if they do, they're too tedious based on what they actually drop, imo.
I burnt through my starchrome as well, only got about 9k left. But it let me fully upgrade the shrapnel helm (firefighter) and got my LV to a level 3 blueprint so it was worth it in the end.
BP from Rift + 80 frag (BP) from last season + 20 frag bonus last season wish machine = lvl 3
80 frag buy outright + 80 frag from Rift = lvl 4 with 70 to spare. Need another 80 to get to lvl 6.
Assuming lvl 6 is the same you probably need 200 frag to upgrade. There's no guarantee chance right now until a future season so you need to be very lucky with Echo from Rift to keep getting LV.
The rewards kinda suck, but I imagine that will be adjusted as the season goes on.
Okay I found the voodoo doll, except this is the balloon elite which made it even worse lol. Balloon elite has "phase" by each time he inflate the balloon and you need to pop 3-4 balloon before you can kill him. So in the mean time he regenerated voodoo doll lol. Not too bad to be honest, but yeah loot sucks.
Thanks I'm still learning the game, I appreciate the info!
Also I already have 24k starcrons for just playing the season, I still want to test everything before purchase a set since I only experienced shrapnel so far, but you're evaluating me as a veteran player and I said that I just started this character on this season, I didn't have a problem with anything so far and I think that the hard difficulty is the more balanced one, as the normal difficulty the game is simple just too boring.
Some void enemies are more tough than others, void crates are ok, Rosetta bombers are cancer, Rosetta mechanics are the easiest ones and Vulture snipers are weirds, as they teleport too much and also throw grenades.
I also agree with their regeneration and respaw of the first map, in my opinion once their shield is broken they should be gone, usually their fights involve the whole map and that itself already are a problem.
The only time that I had a hard time against those enemies was one sitting RIGHT AT THE QUEST POINT, I had to stop, go back to my base and craft a damn rifle to fight against it.
I kinda don't welcome this kind of challenge that will force us to rotate our builds each season.
Void = Unstoppable or Power Surge
Balance = Burn a or Frost Vortex
If you have the override for the cradle(Anti-Balance, Anti-Void), it'll make things easier for you.
Now I guess the devs added this for people whose been saying the game has been too easy.
For complete newbies to the game and have never finished one server season, this will be hard for them when they first have their unfortunate meeting with one. Just run and leave. For the people playin long enough, I hope they saved up starchrom to buy one of the following gun blueprints to help them out with this type of monster.
Or just run away if you can't fight them.
Also check what server are you on Normal or Hard. Hard just have deviants doing more dmg on you but nothing with proper gear can't handle.
