In the video you bring up the goals where it says "Use Close Defense Turrets, heavy weaponry, or tactical items for effective DMG" you might try doing that.

Gatling cannon and biomass missiles will take down the silver shield very quickly. Rocket/Grenade launchers, or hand thrown grenades will eventually wear the shield down, but will take a good amount.
