For the second time now . It says cant do it for 7 days , meaning it reset and has that bug . I dropped my 40 level 3's in , did it , took 0 damage and got nothing . Seriously , this is twice now on this one play through . That is 8 k starchrom I have been scr#%^@# out of . There is literally no point in continuing to play this game when the ONLY thing worth getting is blueprints that I have 0 possibility of getting because the MAIN source of income in this game is broken . Another descent game ruined by incompetence .

Ohh to make it even worse and make sure I really feel that slap across the face ! Since the purple drop did no happen , I clicked on the purification unit to see if I at least get my 40 level 3's back . Nope , there gone and in there place , a single level 1 .

User error ? Well , with that brilliant bit of detective work , perhaps you can enlighten all of us as to what that was exactly ?
I turned my turrets on , dropped 40 level 3's into the unit and hit F . I proceeded to kill the mobs for 5 minutes . Had over a minute left after I killed the second elite that spawns in . This is the SAME exact way I have always done it . So , genius . Lets have your assessment .

Well since you posted this 25 minutes ago, it means you started the purification early while it was still in CD. Purification resets began 25 minutes ago.

And by your own words you were premature. You lost your cortex's due to user error

presently 8:27AM US central time. It reset at 8am my time. You posted at 8am on the dot. This implies you started before reset began

Sometimes the rewards spawns in random places like the roof.

I had a bug several times. If you use a room the size of one foundation (like in many super-duper videos), then starchrome does not show up until you move this thing for purification (I forgot what it's called).

Umm... you know the starchrom spawns outside of the purifier rather than in it, right?

Ive done this several times in this same structure I built specifically for it . It always dropped it on the ground next to it after it was finished . When I did it this morning . It said 0/40 refreshes in 6days 23 hours and so many minutes . I did it , nothing dropped . I came in here made the post . went and did the EXACT same thing , and it dropped . This is the second time this has cost me 40 extra cortexes to get the reward . The first time it happened is when I discovered this does indeed occur randomly for some of us . I watched the clock tick down and reset before I started it the first time . I walked away when it did and took maybe 15 seconds to hit the switch and enable the turrets . It went from 40/40 to 0/40 . I started it and got nothing!
