Only piece of advice that springs to mind now is to stick with one build and not spend any starchrom on a second one after completing the first. Save your starchrom to spend in the next season in case the server you end up joining requires specific builds. I see a lot of people on my server who are working on their second or third character build just because they improved their first one as much as they could, and I think that they're making a mistake.

"Big Wipe" doesn't happen for another 5 weeks for you.

Phase 6, settlement phase, last for 4 weeks.

The game is NOT going to be wiped in 6 weeks.
Infact, you will enter settlement phase in week 6th which will allow you to move to a new server, either to the same scenario or a new one (not release yet). There also a hard mode to choose from.

When the 6th phase ends (which mentioned above that it last 4 weeks) or you decided to move before then, every item that is not mention that they will be transfer with you in the settlement page will be moved to Eternaland or convert to Eterna Sand. Except for some items such as item crafted from Specializations.

Beware: you could lose Deviations if they're still in the securement. So pick them up before then.

When you start a new server, you can export most of the item that are in your Eternaland by spending Export points, given you 20k at the start (idk if you can gain more during the new server). There is a forum summarizing how much which item cost to export Link here

So tip is:
  • Buy every Starchrom boxes. They will give you a total of 4k Starchrom for the cost of 390k ELs (btw I'm not sure about its cost)
  • Make Tungsten Pickaxe or Adv. Chainsaw + Adv. Drill (They have to not have perk). So you can start your new base much, much faster.
  • Don't bother bringing Tier 5 weapons unless you got a god roll on Calibrations. It costs 9k but you will have enough material to craft them again by the time you're able to equip them.
  • Spend Controllers as much as you can because Mods will be transfer with you free of charge, meanwhile controllers cost 20points each, unless you plan to bring them to hard server (which some says they drop better substats rolls).
  • Get all weapon attachments you need. These will also be unlocked for you as soon as you move. Same goes with food recipes found around the map.
  • Get all blueprints fragments since in the new server, you can gather them again and you can use those to upgrade blueprints you want.
  • If you want to max out Starchrom gain, Stay on the old server until the server you're planing to join reach the 2nd phase. Because in the 1st phase, you can't have Cortex lvl 3 and cortexs aren't one of the transferable items. But you can keep doing purification on your old server with those you're already have until then. This method risk of server being full so do it at your own risk.
  • Test all your builds in your old server since you still have all the resources. Spend them, you won't export them anyway (since the export points are better used devis and gun's calibration)
  • Don't fret over all the items you have. This game resource farming is really easy. (Except Rubbers) Most of the thing you need are rewarded in events, rift, and silos. Acid can be farm more easily with the help of Spec replacement (Chemist is the best, imo)
  • If your server still have enough people, spam Primewar Nightmare for Resonance Mods. All the resource that wouldn't be worth to export will be used to get you free mods instead. Even if Resonance aren't all good, you can use them as fodder for Mod Conversion.

That's all I could think of.

Get a few Advanced Chainsaws and Drills to bring over so you don't have to go hit stuff with an axe out the gate.
