if you feel like this then youre gonna uninstall because its the same thing with less content if you pick the streamlined quests. just logged in today to smash the wish machine then uninstalled. will try again with new pvp scenario and if thats anywhere near as bad as evo call then its getting shelved for the foreseeable future.
Wipe was completely unnecessary and was just a tool to reconsolidate the servers because of the horrible design.
You keep your weapon blueprints! You can just build a new T1 set of equipment when you start a new season!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You wasted all of those points because you didn't READ!!!
I'm already back to T3 equips, brought my best deviations, an advanced drill and chainsaw, batteries for them, and I have almost 10k points left to bring over anything else such as hard to find seeds like morel and aloe.
I'm sitting pretty while you just PLAYED YOURSELF!!!
Live and learn, I guess.
Still, huge OOF.
All you have to do is start a new season, drop from the sky like you did the first time around, find a base spot, build base, gather materials, craft T1 equips from your blueprints that CARRY OVER and you're back to a full legendary set in no time.
Though, you may want to hold off on going legendary armor from the get. It takes stardust source to craft it and there's a shortage of that stuff at the beginning of the game.
I just remade my weapons and then crafted a set of purple armor until I hit Iron River. By that time, I had a nice bank of stardust source so I felt comfortable crafting my legendary armors for that added hp/pollution resist.
the point is they should have promoted this game as rogue-like, the point of starting new is to make the BP you already unlocked even stronger and or unlock the BP you don't have yet.
OFC you have a point if you have to do the same all over, its kinda boring, then again Diablo3 was like that and tons of people releveled and did all the same over and over and over... you get the point. and mind you D3 you did not make your gear better. in this game you do.
its all up to you if you find this type of games interesting or not.
you can uninstall the game til october which is the month the new pve scenario will launch.
your arguments are valid, as are everyone else's. yes, it is not enticing restarting from scratch. it can get repetitive especially if it's the same content. i personally don't mind the "wipe" but many do and that's ok.
however, if you plan accordingly and bring the correct items into the new season, rebuilding from nothing is quick and easy. even moreso if you have a hive/warband going in.
here's the thing. this is the way the game is designed. i don't see the devs re-imagining their vision for the game as that would take a lot of work, time, and resources, so if the "wipe" is truly a dealbreaker for you, then just play something else. no, this isn't me condescendingly telling you to stop complaining. i am just telling you how it is. you are free to continue arguing, as it is your right to share your grievances, but nothing will change. you're just going to waste your time.
PS: Save the "if you dont like it dont play it" comments.... its a game, I like my hobbies.... and I loved this game until this reset happened....
Whatever that random mix of letters is, I will assume its a coherent thought. Thanks for the insight, your words clearly are poetry.. Kinda like how in the 70's.. Jackhammers, an Cement Mixers were ' music '..
