Please remove the lockout on gather-able deviants.
I've been doing some personal testing and at least 99% sure that there is a lockout on the gather-able deviants (Bunny, Growshroom, Digby). To put it simply, you can recieve 2 of them before you are put on a lockout/cooldown for a indeterminate amount of time and in that time you can't get any more.

For testing, i've gathered 2 Growshrooms within 300 mushrooms multiple times, and then another 700 afterwards got me nothing. Digbys are the same, i can get 2 after a long period of silver farming then nothing.

And again, Bunnys, choping down large trees with the relog method i get two within 10 or so trees, then 40 afterwards i get nothing. As for the cooldown, i can't be sure i know it's at least a few hours, or it may be linked directly to the loot reset, more testing is needed here but the fact is, it exists.

The worst part is, is that i have a feeling that these three share a cooldown, i've gone from farming shrooms to trying to get bunnys or digbys to just get none after a extended period, this may still be down to bad rng of course.

I understand why this was in place, since we can gather these resources essentially infinitely without wait it makes them far easier to get than the deviants that are shared between everyone and spawn on a cooldown.

But that was back when all there was to get was a higher ranked deviant with some decent abilities.

But now we have alternate forms with unique abilities, the drop rate for them being around 5% or maybe sub that, having such a heavy restriction on these deviants feels utterly terrible as me and many others want to be able to hunt them when we have time, this artificial timegating is horrible.

Please remove it.

After 2 day testing for my experience the bunny and digby share a cooldown, if i'm get digby 2 i won't get any digby / bunny for awhile until it reset and vice versa it happen every times i'm farming silver / chop biggest tree

It isn't true of all deviants. I've grabbed 4 bees within about 25 minutes. I just grabbed one, changed world, got another, changed world 2-3 times got none, changed twice more got 2 more.. Whilst there might be a cooldown in the same world, changing worlds seems to deliver better odds. The same goes for beavers, paper dolls, digbys, the dino, cats etc.. there's loads of those but deviants that require a pickup like shrooms, lethal bunny etc are very hard to get. And devs from boss kills, they seem completely random drops.

I think alot of it depends on your characters memetic masteries as well, I have 2 main lv 50 chars, one has dreadful memes and horrible gather rates. The other as in screenshot above, is continually throwing stuff into eternaland sell shop to get rid of them all.

It have nothing to do with bee that is open world spawn not gather one i can get 20 bee in less than hour if no one farm there

This thread is about deviation that come from gather stuff like digby from silver ore, fetch a lot bunny from dracaena tree and growshroom from mushroom.

idk if this ppl are ignortant or they just dont read that its talk about certain deviants not all lol .... like i can find 20 bees in 30 mins also yes but bunny , shroom , diggy nop ... like last night i tried for diggy again 2 in like 10 ore and then nothing again in next 30 + ores ... its just crazy
May be it depends on what you do in game, like it's written above. My specializations smelter, but i do a lot of plants farming and making dishes, and i have 15+ glowshrooms, few of them get from my farm when gathering mushrooms

you can make big farm, and plant there a mushrooms, gather them. From 100 yields sometimes i get 2 growshroms. Often time they are 1st lvl, better gather in wild. Banny and Digby not so much useful. Gathering ores by hand with seafood in oil for 10 minutes gives ~5000 ores. And bunny not give so much resources, do not need. Lethal rabbit 1-2 enough. Growshroms more useful, they increase growing speed and you can multiply them by growing mushrooms
What's more annoying is that high-level deviants don't drop, I made 100+ runs on Silo PHI and didn't get level 5 Pyrodino, I got level 5 Chefo Rex, but not Pyrо
Haven't done testing but after recent updates I can see that earlier in 60-90 mushrooms I could get at least 1 Growshroom but now I've already put 200+ mushrooms and no deviant for me. ♥♥♥♥, collecting deviants was fun but now it's getting not that fun.
Fairly sure after lots of farming and hours put into the Ravenous Hunter boss Gel farm. That I can safely say, they've definitely changed something about the drop rate recently. I don't know what it is or what they've done, but the gel hardly seems to drop ever now compared to like a week or so ago.

I noticed it earlier this week before pro modes got added. The gels were constantly dropping at a decent rate (Every 4 - 5 runs) now they seem to hardly drop at all. Had a streak yesterday of 20 runs without any gels dropping at all. Then came on after the blackfell reset and low and behold I got 2 gel drops back to back and then none for many runs after. I really hope they've not made silo deviant drops locked as-well. That would be garbage since they're already rng enough IF they drop let alone what % you have as a shiny, and now limited drops on top of that? Please don't do this devs thanks.

Been farming pro mode Ravenous Hunter recently and it's the same story. 2 gel drops fairly close in runs after logging on the game and then none at all for many runs after. Lots of people I have been farming with have said the same thing aswell.

whoever said 1h either didn't gather the 2 out of 2 gatherable every 4 hours, or gathered them back to back on a loot reset hour

Just to bookend this forum post, with the update from Sept 12th the spawn rates of not just Shinies but all deviants in general has been overhauled. While some of the previous information still may remain true alot of the theory crafting, respawn timers, and mechanics in general is completely changed.

With the inclusion of Private securement facilities at each town, which have a modest pool size and the possibility of giving a shiny, there are now more methods than ever for farming. Furthermore, Shinies now drop more commonly than some higher tier crafting materiel so the overall rarity of them is mostly lost, still super cool to collect ofc.

Please remove all the stuff you added to ruin the game. Afk Timer, Deviant Timer, 3 knockout rule for bosses, Parts number for territories should be 500 or 1000.. not 250, please fix all the blueprint bugs, graphical bugs and glitches, the ai pathing to where you were not are, the myriad other bugs, crashes and glitches it takes someone less than 5 minutes ingame to find.. oh and all the "free to play" fleecing..

Oh and that Find Ted mission...
