If you're going to take the time to post something, please also take the time to see if there's already a topic on the matter. We don't need hundreds of little threads all commenting on the same thing.

If you're going to take the time to post something, please also take the time to see if what you're posting pertains to the topic, nobody in that post mentions screen tearing. Thanks for your effort tho, people like you demonstrate the incompetence is global

Jesus christ you keep proving yourself, good job! That's THE ONLY MENTION of screen tearing, and NOBODY TALKS ABOUT A SOLUTION.

So was there ever a fix for this? I'm running the same hardware and specs and am getting the same issue on the winter map.

This mentions a solution.
For NVidia Control Panel (or NVidia App), set vertical sync to "ON" and only "ON". It does not work if you set it to "Fast" or other variants. No idea why, but setting to ON instead of Fast removes screen tearing for me when using DirectX12.

It's called a dx12 vram memory leak and it's here for more than 7 months (yeah, it was already here at cbt). It's not fixed yet and I'm pretty sure they won't fix it anytime soon, if ever. Lootboxes with 0,001% chance of winning are much more important than fixing a stuttering game. I have the same issue with 3070 at 1440p and it's literally unplayable after a while of playing.

Probably the best fix to any problem ever.

Well it's a temporary "fix" BUT DX11 puts insane load on the cpu in this game. For example my 5900X is at ~25% usage in DX12 and ~70% in DX11.. and also eats +30% more wattage in DX11.. either way, game is just not optimized.

I have 4060ti and it happen to me.
Usualy i play with 60fps on 1440p high settings, but after some time playing the fps drops to 20-30.

people "Screen Tearing" is not a game nor video card problem BUT a monitor problem, it means either you monitor is going to the trash can soon or it has issues with more then "its" refresh rate frames, example if your monitor has a refresh of 144Hz and you play games with 144+ fps and you see "Screen Tearing" this means your monitor can't cope, either use Vscn in games or cap the frame rate of set game to 143 or lower. and look for a new monitor.
Edited: this is the same for when you have a high refresh rate monitor and you have low fps, then Screen Tearing can happen too.
