this worries me so much too, and it brought me to eternaland page when i click more infor, so items in eternaland only last for 15 days?? How about all the gold calibrations mods i have??

I actually figured it out by asking the in-game wikibot thing called Ask V.

according to it when prompted 'Temporary Backpack':

[Spacetime Backpack]
Description:
1. The Backpack consists of two parts: the Season Backpack and the Spacetime Backpack. The Season Baskpack is used during the current season, while the Spacetime Backpack, unlocked with Eternaland, stores items from past seasons and items produced in Eternaland.
2. Items stored in the Spacetime Backpack are permanent and will not be removed at the end of a season.
3. If your Spacetime Backpack is full when a season ends, excess items will be transferred to a temporary backpack and held for 7 days. Items not claimed within this period will be sold for Astral Sand.
Navigation:
Press to open the Backpack screen. To switch to the Spacetime Backpack, click the Eternaland icon in the lower right corner of the item slots.
Notes:
When starting a new season, you will receive a certain amount of Material Points. These points can be used to transfer items from your Spacetime Backpack to your Season Backpack for use in the new season.

This is confusing so items in Eternaland are safe but whatever that cant fit in there will be in temporary backpack for 7 days. Then can you pls tell me where to find this temporary bag?? On pc what button to press to open this damn bag? I swear many will have their items deleted without even knowing there is a temporary bag in the game.

So from a conversation with someone on my server I learned, if you press "I" when the pop up is there, there should be an icon below the PVE icon which you are able to press. However for me, there is no icon... is that also the case for you? He also said, it would disappear after you transfer the the items out of this mysterious "temporary backpack" (which is not accessible for me)

Well start transferring to eternaland then or take out what you really need then wave goodbye to everything else.

I think we don't see the temporary backpack icon because no one has exceeded the limit. Everything that is in Etherland will be preserved. And the notification is seen by everyone who has moved on to the next season.

It's apparently an overflow item bag but no one is able to access it.

I definitely have SCPs in the overflow bag (strange doors, etc) but I can't access this temporary overflow bag, no one can. I reported it as a bug and ngl potential PR disaster for them.

Stuff are safe in Eternaland as long as you move the last season to a storage in Eternaland. Build some house and storage there. Started cleaning my spacetime backpack like selling too many mats and other stuff so for the next season you have space. What we usually by the end of the phase is sell our items / throw stuff like a lot of extra water, metal scraps ad others so spacetime backpack is not full and the rest end up in temporary backpack

This happened to me and didn't realize there was a temporary backpack on the right side, I think it showed on the last phase. Found my missing callibs there.
