the only reason to install to a m.2 or SSD is if the game takes advantage of direct storage access api that's not support by this game
then you asked and answered your own question then did you not
im running it from an HDD and it works fine
I am currently playing on HHD and let me tell you, takes about 15mins to load the game even with 3080 TI / 32gb rams. SSD is the way.
tho to be fair, my HDD is a seagate barracuda and its not a cheap HDD either.
tho, if this game says SSD highly recommended should it be on an SSD.
i just use my barracuda for normal games which dont have the "SSD recommended" on it. everything else which actually says SSD recommended goes onto my SSD.
i wonder how once human would do on my barracuda, it probably runs without issues cause i played for example starfield on my seagate barracuda and i had no issues, i simply wanted to know if it works or not since peoples said and even shown that starfield for example wouldnt be nice on a HDD but then again, a seagate barracuda is one of the fastest HDD´s today and not cheap either.
tho am scare´d of what peoples say about once human aka how it scrapes your personal informations etc. once that got fully debunkt am i willing to check how my barracuda handles this game even tho it wants an SSD.
Seems like you did not understand what he said.
Some games absolutely do NOT run on a HDD.
