Premium battle pass warning
As someone who has enjoyed the game so far I just want to let those wondering if they should buy into the premium know something.

If you don't want the specific items thay come specifically with the premium options (the exclusive 4 items), don't bother. The normal purchase is definitely enough. I have a little over 10 hours of game time right now and I'm already lvl 40 of 60 on the pass.

That is to say, this is definitely one of the easier battle passes I've seen to level up. Assuming that we have 2 months to complete this you could probably max this in less than two weeks. Which I definitely dig honestly. Most of the time it's a struggle to complete BP in other games for me since I jump from game to game.

I actually liked the battlepass selection in this game, the free one. It has some skins, some utility items and such it's not bad even a weapon skin. There's just so much to do that rewards BP exp that I agree, the BP is actually not a chore.

Yes, it actually doesn't penalize you for not buying into it. It's not like most where freemium players only get a item every 5 lvls. The only thing I'm not super big on how kitty themed some of the premium items look. Like the neko cradle. It clashes hard with items like the spider assassin set lol. Also, surprised that the spider assassin set is earned in one lvl and not broken up over the battle pass.

I wanted the cat(ish) backpack so I got the premium (it was exclusive to the premium) but doubt I'd ever get the premium again. Possibly the paid version but not the upgraded version.

@Sharkinbear. TY for trying to help with my battlepass issue the other day. In the end, the issue was that Steam Overlay was off. I never use it so I never had an issue before. Ah well.

If you unlock skins from battlepass, are they available for every character you create on any server? Or just for the character who you bought battlepass with?

Not sure since multiple characters were just added but I assume it's account bound and not character bounded

The only thing i want is the pink and blue backpack as it matches the candypunk outfit in the cash shop. Its not a good enough item to buy and grind a whole pass that only gives materials for

Nothing in life is free. thats a little over 5 bucks a month. If you enjoy the game thats a great deal.

No they aren't. You are, I am assuming, responsible for you own finances. It's up to you to decide if you think the advanced BP is worth it. It's not like they are a collection agency and they are stealing $10.

And I'm sorry, but I would rather piecemeal support to a game that is fun and free instead of being buying a $70 "AAA" game that you don't even get to try.

Not sure how this is a warning? "Don't buy a battlepass unless you want the stuff in them" seems common sense :D

Sure that is fair. But think of it like this. Most BP require weeks and weeks of playing a game and are generally not something you can complete in a week. This was more of a a warning to let people know that you don't need buy advanced levels to complete it.
