Stuck @ Character Creation Naming

Posting this for my friend. He made his character on the same server as me and got to the "choose icon & name" section, but upon trying to enter the game literally nothing happens. No error message, no pop-up, no prompt, no nothing. He's tried everything he can think of besides exiting & restarting.

Anyone else encounter this problem, &/or hopefully know a fix or work-around?

Also no, I had no issues. I made my character same time as him, inputted my name & icon selection, and entered the game no problem. I've just been sitting at the scene to pull out the dagger as I wait.

i can't even go to the character creation.
select server, join game. nothing happen.

no que, no message, nothing

tried re-entering the game couples of time. same thing.
i tried to wait for a bit. sometimes it show error about disconnected, sometime it just sit there. sometime the server selection got reset and i have to pick again or it show no connection

Same here stuck on "generating character"

I just had this problem and fixed it by changing the server. If you look at the main menu screen and look at the server, if your server has no connection or is extremely low, it won't allow you to create the character. However, if you switch which server, you are using then you are able to move forward with the character creation.

I forgot to reply before as an update, but yeah my friend did this exact thing and got it to work. After we both got ingame though, and getting endgame content spoiled for us with the 9milion bases right as we spawned in, and the inability to start together without going to a special location, honestly killed both of our desires to play the game. Unless they add private worlds/servers, we ain't coming back to this.

Bases arent a spoil , plus in first area bases is so stupid if u find ppl like that just say they dont know nothing about the game
