Server Wipes will Kill this Game.

I don't care if you keep some stuff and lose some stuff, this game will not survive in the long run like this.
Most people who play it don't even know this game has wipes.

Progress Wipe does not make sense on PVE Servers, on PVP servers i can see it make sense otherwise No.

A lot of people seem to compare this game to other genres on purpose to mislead others but let's not kid ourselves this a Live Service MMO.

-Rust is a PVP only game not a Live Service MMO with Dungeons, Bosses, Events, RPG Mechanics or any PVE content, it's pure PVP and not much fun it's full of cheaters.
-ARK and Conan are Offline Co-op games with optional servers and Private Servers.
-Tarkov is a PVP Shooter why even bring it up?! another cheater haven game.
Path of Exile and Diablo 4 are APRGs this game is not.
For some reason people also mention Cycle Frontier?!
Which got Shut Down last year, yeah a dead game is not a good example to use.

Using any of these games in your argument makes no sense because i can randomly choose a game as well from any other genre to feed my argument but that would not make sense now does it?!
Oh, it's not a full wipe? no one cares even if it was just levels it would still be bad.

Devs need rethink this, they said they are open to feedback which means they themselves are still not sure about it yet, so please make some noise, don't let this game die.
You have a gem of a game in your hands, don't throw it away.

I love this game, i spent money on it because i know the devs deserve it,
and i'm willing to spend another 100 dollars but not with server wipes.

EDIT: after playing the game for 2 seasons and spending over 200 dollars i completely gave up on the game not because of resets alone but because of another very big issue this game has which is SERVER STRUCTURE, one of the worst i have seen in an online game.

Wait.. what? i just started to play couple hours ago and i saw this post talking about server wipe, seriously for each season the server get wipe? Well if that is true so i just rethink if i'll continue playing this game.

All resources are super easy to find. Me and two other friends got a 10+ of each resource, and find them easily if depleted. and Acid drops like the most for us.

It's only heading in a good direction, a lot of f2p games in the past two years did horrible, and this game is doing better than some of the Paid alternatives. the reason it is liked and played by a lot is the fact this is literally Secret World 2.0. and the wipes i welcome, this comes from having played games like DayZ, Rust and other survival themed games for years which only wiped once every few months. it becomes unstable and too crowded. stale and boring, so yeah i wish more games did it like Once Human. that and the core game design is build around the wipes. new map section, story and such every 6 weeks.

lol my friend playing 2 hour everyday he barely get anything done people like him will quit for sure, some people said it like survival MMO wipe is common thing lmao especially shortest one like this, tarkov 5-6 months before wipe, i don't count rust becaust rust is hardly count as a survival game rust is open pvp and thrive on that.

Everything you play in Once Human is hosted via servers owned by that very studio, you own nothing, it is not hosted by you. This obviously goes for Eternaland as well.

Server wise Rust is nothing like Once Human, people need to stop comparing it, sadly that's literally half of what this whole post is about which is ridiculous.

Obviously, the only comparison is the wipes, but in Once Human it's a little more forgiving than Rust.
