Server Wipes will Kill this Game.

I don't care if you keep some stuff and lose some stuff, this game will not survive in the long run like this.
Most people who play it don't even know this game has wipes.

Progress Wipe does not make sense on PVE Servers, on PVP servers i can see it make sense otherwise No.

A lot of people seem to compare this game to other genres on purpose to mislead others but let's not kid ourselves this a Live Service MMO.

-Rust is a PVP only game not a Live Service MMO with Dungeons, Bosses, Events, RPG Mechanics or any PVE content, it's pure PVP and not much fun it's full of cheaters.
-ARK and Conan are Offline Co-op games with optional servers and Private Servers.
-Tarkov is a PVP Shooter why even bring it up?! another cheater haven game.
Path of Exile and Diablo 4 are APRGs this game is not.
For some reason people also mention Cycle Frontier?!
Which got Shut Down last year, yeah a dead game is not a good example to use.

Using any of these games in your argument makes no sense because i can randomly choose a game as well from any other genre to feed my argument but that would not make sense now does it?!
Oh, it's not a full wipe? no one cares even if it was just levels it would still be bad.

Devs need rethink this, they said they are open to feedback which means they themselves are still not sure about it yet, so please make some noise, don't let this game die.
You have a gem of a game in your hands, don't throw it away.

I love this game, i spent money on it because i know the devs deserve it,
and i'm willing to spend another 100 dollars but not with server wipes.

EDIT: after playing the game for 2 seasons and spending over 200 dollars i completely gave up on the game not because of resets alone but because of another very big issue this game has which is SERVER STRUCTURE, one of the worst i have seen in an online game.

But SERIOUSLY, what's your problem with wipes? We're not on Tarkov or Rust or whatever other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ survival game. I've been playing intensively for 22 years, and I can tell you that very few games work "WELL" with wipes. Your game is not RUST or ESCAPE FROM TARKOV. You've created a Survival/MMO mix that absolutely does not require any WIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Moreover, if you don't wipe the blueprints, then there's even more reason NOT TO WIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your game has potential, so do something with it and don't let it die like all the others that make bad choices for their games!!!! I don't know, add BASE stats for PvP to create infinite balance and make sure PVE is not the source of PvP imbalance due to the relentless optimization of some players or over-gearing... Above all, don't make the mistake of wiping such a game with a lot of farming, PVE progression, quests, LEVELS, etc. Believe me, your game won't last long if you stick with such a decision. For me and many other players, it will be uninstalled soon if you maintain these wipes that will kill your game.

If you want to wipe, create PVP ONLY servers with wipes every 3-4 months, but do not wipe the current servers, EVER!!!!!!!!!! Don't make this mistake.

I know I was definitely keeping this game on my radar. I'm a huge fan of survival games, and this one seemed like it had a lot going for it. As soon as I found out about the server wipes though, my interest disappeared. Such a horrible choice by the devs... Hopefully they come up with a better plan before they kill their own game!

Listen kid, Devs asked for Feedback about the Seasonal System and we are giving them feedback.

How about going back to your cave? 70h in the game already?

Due to my limited playtime, I have invested a considerable amount of effort and dedication into building my character and progressing in the game. However, the frequent server wipes negate this hard work, leaving me feeling frustrated and demotivated. It is disheartening to see weeks of progress erased so quickly, making it challenging to fully enjoy the game and participate in its long-term aspects.

I understand the purpose behind server wipes and their role in keeping the game fresh and balanced, but I urge you to consider extending the duration between wipes. A longer season would not only allow players like myself to enjoy a more fulfilling experience but also provide ample time to explore the game's content without the constant pressure of an impending reset.

My time is massively precious to me, Once Human clearly doesn't appreciate the player base that is in a similar situation to me either.


What a shame.
