In their defense tho Elden Ring DLC was a tad over the top on difficulty lol.
The lack of challenge in games is what is killing the gaming industry.
People jump games like they change underwear, even if a game is good.
Next!
Thats silly. Nobody is asking for DayZ levels of craziness. But i played games where story mode was more difficult vs Once Human. They need to maintain the balance at least on PC/consoles.
The game is supposed to get progressively harder as the season phases progress according to the phases page in game, for example phase 3 unlocks hard mode dungeons and phase 5 unlocks 'nightmare mode' for the main boss battle and prime war
What about open world? Will it get more difficult?
Wouldn't hate a hard server option post 1st wipe.
The game is a ton of fun, especially for a free game. But this current braindead combat is just killing it for me. At ~10ish hours and level 20.
I agree. The AI is very sluggish to respond (when it does respond) and their pathing is atrocious, which makes me think it's being limited cpu wise to help the servers. Doesn't mean there's not a ton of issues with how it responds when it does finally notice you.
You think the gaming industry is dying? Excuse me? Where are your eyeballs looking? Gaming industry is THE biggest entertainment industry. Easy mode or hard mode. It's not going anywhere. You want your hard modes, there are plenty of games out there providing it.
