It has wierd ones. They're made out of objects like light bulbs and other stuff. I don't have a screenshot handy otherwise I'd share one.

Hell, I'm less inclined to even call those spiders, they look like Hands (Like thing from the Addams Family) some with glowy growths coming out of the wrist connector, and some with, as Xaelon said, lightbulbs instead. You can just walk up to them and press F and stomp them to death in one hit.

Sorry for mini-necro.

UPDATE: after playing for dozens of hours, there are spiders, there is very much a spider presence, and Big ass Momma spider that is freaking horrific
