Of course they have some fanservice to sell skins to the lonely basement dwellers and the graphics look quite good, but yeah it's NEXON... scummy monetization in every direction.
The game itself? It's fine, good even.
Now, the issue actually is the EULA and people swearing that the game is more akin to spy ware grabbing things from your computer to sell. I haven't seen any confirmation of that but almost all the complaints about this game aren't about the game itself, but the anti cheat / alleged data collection system.
As for First Descendant, generic crap.
This tard is being paid by NetEase or something?
Why those both games have such a high online, lol, easy? F2P + summer school break.
No, he is probably well educated and he is just tired to explain things for dummies anymore.
are you here to be a troll or?
I could complain about the game:
Animation wise quite lacking
Building is horrible, sure I did not played that much building survival game but it is the worst from those I played. Many cases block snap to every single possible way except the way I want.
Enemy Ai felt quite dumb so far too
Those stupid player messages(if they can be turned of then cool) otherwise one is at my door and half the time I manage to press use on that instead of the door despite I look at the door.
The no voice acted but gestures filled conversations are just feel low quality and comical.
Combat is janky too, sometimes I melee attack some enemy with the that little shove animation and sometimes the enemy teleported to the roof from it.
I only saw controller-aim assist in the game so not sure if it can be turned off for k+m but it is awful more so with the sniper rifle first person aiming. For example when certain plant enemies shooting 3 bullet at you and I would shoot behind them aiming with the scope, then it just not possible cause magically you hit all 3 bullet before you can aim where you actually wanted.
Lack of general polish translation/language wise:
I saw some random chineese characters here and there
"bunker acces door" which most likely should be "bunker acces key"
At armor calibration it says weapon is fully calibrated instead of armor.
And the horrible amount of graphical issues. Some could be said that oh it just my computer fault but eh.
On sand I cannot simply turn around without seeing the textures load in cause it is that bad.
Floating plants and such, floating sign board, chains, a whole damn car with a whole dirtpatch next to it just float like 20cm above the grould.
Above this certain models loads in fully awfully slow so I can just ran around and see cliffs shift and shape like 20 meter ahead of me.
During every single cutscene I can see as the npc suddenly vanish then load back in for the cutscenes.
My melee weapon was invisible for a while too.
And I am pretty sure I could find many many many more if I would bother to watch the rest of the cutscenes or explore the map more.
