Once Human

Once Human

TOS, Spy ware, maybe nothing ?
First and foremost the TOS is no different than any other TOS you accept. If you have Wi-Fi you’re product for big corp. Facebook, Microsoft, steam, google, web searching ect. Collect every single thing you do on the web from games played, searches, websites visited, videos watched ect the list goes on.

They will sale and trade all information collected on you.

Every single person on the planet has an Online profile rather they use a fake alias or not. Your phone has your real ID for most people anyway, if not if you have a bank account hooked then bam mystery solved. They know who you are.

Your phone has a microphone and a video camera on it. Now no idk how it works or if it’s on 24/7 but opening Facebook or whatever and seeing something I was talking to a friend about in the living room is weird and maybe not suspicious. But now it’s everyday. Yeah something is going on.

Now idk why or what the end goal is for this something to do with AI, I’m assuming but maybe something more malicious when we move to a cashless society. Maybe you get a text from the bank that says let us take $100 out of your account or we will release your entire internet search history to your family and friends. 😂😂

Look anyhow idk why they’re collecting all of our information but for whatever reason it’s not good and we will find out sooner rather than later, I suppose. But there is nothing you can do about it.

TLDR: Unless you intend to get rid of your phone and all internet access forever shut up and install the game.

The policy states under "Personal Information we receive from you:" that they receive "Name & Contact Details" "Such as first and last name, title, prefix, email address, telephone number, (instant) messaging account, postal address, date of birth, age, gender, country/region, and government-issued ID, such as passport information, as required by applicable laws for age verification and correction of personal information."

The general internet has warped this into a demanded requirement and a privacy issue. It's not. These are only sent to the company when required by applicable local laws. This is why it says "Receive from you" and "as required by applicable laws".

In some countries government issued ID's are required for live service game access. If you are not in one of these countries you obviously are not asked or required to present those documents.

Fearmongering on social media is boring as ♥♥♥♥.

Where do they collect the information from? When do you give them this info? Thanks!

Prepare the tinfoil hats. So how exactly do they get these Govt id's, do you stand in front of a mirror and hold up a code while holding your drivers licence?, majority of people do not store those kinds of ID's on a PC. Also in some countries Govt ideas are illegal to hand over unless to a Govt official/police etc so would become a legal matter fairly quickly.
