Those with heavy, slow, delayed feeling mouse movements, cap the game fps the 60fps.
My mouse feels heavy, laggy, slow, and sluggish despite having the mouse smooth off.

I found trying to run as 120fps or uncapped caused the issue (on a 144hz monitor)
I found capping to 60fps fixed the feeling but if your performance starts to struggle the feeling comes back even still capped at 60.

Yeah, I know noticed if the FPS drops even locked to 60 it gets horrific at times.. like half a second delay if your starting to run at 30fps locked to 60fps.

i had this same issue. I was able to sort of work around it by bumping my mouse's dpi up a couple notches. I realize not everyone has this option, but if you do, it worked for me.

This kinda works yeah, Mine is already high and doesn't make it feel quite right still.

When I first opened this game, the character was swaying from side to side like a drunken sailor in a porcelain shop. I wasn't too worried, though, because I've seen this in lots of other games as well.

I'm currently running the game in 4K @ 60 FPS Full-screen, and the MC has almost 1:1 response:

* Camera Sensitivity is maxed out at 150,
* Mouse Smoothing is maxed out at 100 (this may be open for debate - some prefer 0),
* Graphics Performance overall is set at High/Very High,
* Render Scale has been lowered to 90 (and this was the first thing I did, and it immediately improved character responsiveness),
* V-Sync enabled, and
* Max Frame Rate set at 60.

Before these measures I needed 2 wrist swings with the mouse to go 360 degrees on the screen. Now I only need 1 swing.

Finally, you can try to tweak the mouse polling rate. For gaming it's typically 1000, but sometimes it helps to lower it all the way down 400 or even lower.

Both V-Sync enabled, and Mouse Smoothing maxed to 100 are both usually culprits to bad mouse performance so that's real bizzare!

Well, Mouse Smoothing tends to be a "matter of taste" - TBH I can't really tell any difference between mid-position and max-position. For my monitor I need V-Sync enabled, otherwise I get visible rippling across the screen.

I have this problem and I know most of the players have this problem too. I even bought a new generation PC but the problem is still there. When I first enter the game everything is fine the mouse moves smoothly and the game feels light to you like flying, after a few minutes of playing, everything becomes heavy. And you get stuck, I tested everything except the power, I think the problem is electrical noise, electromagnetic interference. It's called EMI. You need to find a way to filter it out, maybe online UPSs do this. I need to test this.
