To clarify something for you, I'm not sure what you are talking about when you say Mbps "more accurately reflects the unit your speed is displayed in." as there is no difference between MB/s and Mbps. The difference is big B little b. Bits and Bytes. A byte is a bit x 8 (roughly). its actually closer to 8.2 but using 8 in the equation gets you in the ball park.
So at 325 mbps you are at 40 MB/s which while they look like two different numbers, they represent the same speed..
My point is, its not more accurately reflecting the unit of speed. Its the same number.
Speeds are measured in and displayed in one of the two values, but they are the exact same.
Its no different than changing from a 12 hour clock to a 24 hour clock. Same time, just done through some basic math. In the USA you might say 10pm, in another country or military you'd say 2200. The time is exactly the same. Its just a simple math equation to go back and forth between them.
