Voice chat?

How do I get voice chat to work... I have it on voice activation but I can't be heard

so its mean problem with ur micro or settings, if u press f5 do u see that icon change (at bot/left)like its active? if yes fix ur microphone

A lot of us don't and WON'T turn on that chat. Just... NO!

My discord volume is perfect. Using in-game voice chat is busted, sliders are on full but can barely make out what others are saying and vice versa

Is there a way to disable it at all? I have people following me for no reason, making spit sounds and yelling and I really would prefer I could switch it off completly. I do not want any interaction at all with other people.

There is setting in voice chat to turn it off, I have the issue where nobody can hear me but I can hear them all just fine and it's not my mic as I use it constantly for work and gaming and never had issues with it. Had some people saying hi and complimenting my house but they couldn't hear me when I tried to thank them

Maybe you need yo allow the game to use mic in Windows settings? I have seen some toggles years ago lol

Any resolution yet? My mic works in Discord but not in game. System indicates that it is using it but no one can hear me.

My problem fixed with changing my sound settings in Windows 10 which is default with different type of input microphone.

1. Go to Sound settings
2. Find Input
3. Change "Choose your input device" to your current mic you are using
4. Restart the game if needed (but mine changed during in-game)

if no and hitting the right button for voice, then what? also if i put my mic on liberty in game, it still shows an x by my mic icon

I wonder if the issue is if we're using third party microphone apps. I'm using voicemeter banana and I'd rather use that instead of enable windows to default just to play this game. I think the game should allow to switch microphone inputs.
