Death in pvp question

do you drop gear on death in pvp? like guns and armor?

Its been awhile but I think you only drop your gun if youre in the designated clan war area stuff, but it didnt work in cbt3 when I played, so im not sure if it still works that way.
The other pvp events that you can just show up to as a solo dont drop anything on knockdown. You just slowly get back up over a few seconds. Nobody can steal from you like in rust, unless you add them to your specific clan and what not. You can also always use a private chest in that situation.

what is chaos state? is that the flagged pvp or just entering a certain zone or event?

if your doing pvp really just take what you need into the zone or stuff you do not care about.. incase. more bp space anyways. or be a jerk and run in naked nad see if you can take down a high tier player

Flagged state but you're automatically put into it when doing PvP events and warfare zones unless something changed from last beta, which is possible. They changed the PvP rules a lot over the course of the two major tests
