How do you summon butterfly?

I literally shut the game down during the first battle. Telling me to "Summon the butterfly". It would help if you told me how to summon the butterfly. This game is not my cup of tea. Now I understand the mixed reviews.

Don't take the butterfly out of the case. You have to leave the butterfly in the glass case and synch it to your cradle. The thing on your back (cradle) should show a butterfly inside of it. Then you can hold E to summon/use it.

Thanks I had same problem I was hitting E I panicked and googled it real quick than just ended up shot arrows in the thing

Basically what I did. I told myself, "Yo butterfly, you aint got nothing on my arrows."

lol, I was literally searching how to do this for the last time before I gave up on this game. They really need to work on their noob communication skills.

I think people don't care about the storyline and somewhere down the line it tells you how to do it. What confused me was placing the butterfly in the boxy thingy and then being told to take it back out. When I did take it out, it was asking me to use it. This is misleading if you ask me.

Yeah, you actually have to synchronize with it after you deposit it in the box.

It's a bit vague, I agree, but more by good luck than anything else I somehow worked it out after about 30 seconds of faffing about. I keep forgetting to use the damn thing though. 😄

and once your in combat you cant put it back in, lol
