I'm sure that wouldn't cause even more issues.
Nor would it take any time to implement. Time that could be used fixing other problems.
Maybe you should try being patient instead of screaming about something that won't happen.
This is not a co-op only game or small player servesr like a lot of survival games are.

the reason I stopped playing is I can't have a private server. I don't want to see people, have people's bases in the way, see all the crap they leave on the ground, etc.. The feel of the game with cluttered servers isn't great at all.
Of four. You could play on a server with three or seven of your friends, or host a public server with a user curated and moderated experience.
What sucks is that we don't really get to. I'd like to know if I passed you in the game I could say hello and speak to you as a neighbor without you being a friend first. The current setup prevents spammers, and that's great, but it would be nice if I was able to communicate easier with those around me considering how rare it is.
