I'm just trying to understand what concerns do you have about it.

I've read the entire ToS/Eula agreement last beta and there is nothing weird about their ToS/Eula as in its not any more invasive than regular Eula and website cookies u visit daily.

Reading comprehension and the capacity to mildly extrapolate simple thoughts from words would do a lot for you. Or, reading it at all.

And what information did they asked to enter? In some countries gov ID is required. They will not ask you to enter it if it's no required. In fact I didn't entered any of this on steam. So why are you going crazy about privacy policy which is just a general thing to cover all the bases in all parts of the world?

Complacency. I do not claim to have lawyers-tooth-and-combed everything I have ever agreed to in video game EULA's, but I will say that when i found out geo-location was added to path of righteous post-launch, I uninstalled.

My passport info and gov't ID. They need that too, of course.

I know the UK has some crazy laws regarding having to send your ID to some companies as verification. Youtube and Blizzard require a picture of your ID too as verification in some countries. Nothing out of the ordinary in this game ToS other than each countries own rules
In reallity the company is just following country orders

Peak clown world takes from all the absolute brainlets in here simping hard and acting personally offended that someone might not be 100% okay with having their privacy invaded for absolutely no justifiable reason. With such immense levels of TikTok brainrot it's no wonder why it is that the zoomers have a lower average IQ across the board than previous generations.

Exactly. In Korea you need your ID to play games like League of Legends and if you get banned for cheating you literally can't play that game any more. And sharing account is identity theft.

I would not know what they asked to enter. I am not installing. What I am worrying over is what they intend to collect even-when-not-needed-by-covering-all-bases.

OP asked what we thought of it. You asked what he meant by asking what people thought of it. I replied coarsely, in tune with answering a question with another question.

Perhaps I should go to law school, or stay off of forums of whose understanding in which I do not have an advanced degree.

Steam itself has a lot of my info. But, the thing is, I trust them. And that is one reason we all use the platform. It is solid, reliable, and at least visibly trustworthy. I might just be overcritical. I made posts like these before, for single player games- and the result was the same.

"Everyone does this," the forums replied.
