i think its more that there are two files that are now kinda random startup programs that come with the game, instead of being isolated to the rest of the program files folder
Also yes I did monitor it with Network Packet Sniffer and looking at Registry Edits. Nothing Sus.
Imo theres nothing that this game could do that microsoft, meta, apple, et all havent already done, and are still in lawsuits for
To preface, you're comparing apples to oranges. Those are launchers, not games. EA, Ubisoft, AND Steam need Admin perms for installing prerequisites. Typically .NET runtimes, anti-cheat such as BattleEye, and whatnot. Steam does it well because it only asks on install and is a temporary elevation. Other launchers could do a better job and match that, but I digress. The difference is that a GAME should not need admin permissions. Full stop. There may be nothing nefarious now, but what's stopping them from including something in one of the in-game updates they push out every few days and doing whatever it wants because it has full admin access?
