Stop trying to make people panic with false information.
And, it's not just the quantity of processes that you should be checking. It's what the processes the game uses are actually doing. You should have some network monitor of some type to see where it's going, what it's sending, etc. Do that and then get back to us...
But people always expect the government is spying or chinese trying to data mine / crypto mine anything. Maybe some chinese companies, especially when they come from Hong Kong, just want to make money with a game, without ill intentions?
Also, every government does it. You think if the FBI went to blizzard and asked them for some info on someone's account blizzard would say no? Haha.
And, who said America wasn't bad? I'd certainly say the NSA, or whatever 3 letter agency, spying on us is bad too.
As a European, USA has spied us WAY more than China does and collects way more data from us. Looking at the OS from Microsoft alone or the build in chips on hardware, is already collecting stuff for USA.
Can two things not be bad at the same time? Do you think I wouldn't be saying the same ♥♥♥♥ about other games with similar spyware, because it's not a chinese dev? Go track my posts in elden ring, I have the same complaints about EAC rootkit spyware.
