CONTROLLER SUPPORT!!!!!

Until this game get some Hot Damn controller support, consider this game trash! I mean honestly, MOST gamers started playing video games using a controller and to NOT add controller support is like shutting out over half you audience... I'm not even gonna give this game a try until they get their shii together... Imagine not having controller support being the one thing that makes everyone on steam delete this game from their library...😏🎮💁🏽‍♂️

I play for 4 hrs with xbox controller and works pretty decent. There things to fix, like rotation lag and some menu interface, But the big eye should be on the aim movement, specially for people (like me) who play without aim assist.

I'm gonna check the configuration options and wait for more pve/pvp gameplay for a final verdict, but so far the experince was ok.

Future me here, controller works, it just hates steam input, though i can only describe the feel of the controller as "sticky".

If you were using a custom profile for your steam input then you will need to set it as a default gamepad. If it's set as a custom profile it might be creating a conflict with the games controller support causing you to rapidly switch between "controller" and "Keyboard and Mouse" which does have input lag as it switches between those two modes.

I held off on playing until they added controller support, but aiming is so laggy. As soon as I switch to my mouse it's smooth as butter, but try moving the joystick on my Xbox controller and it's like I'm running the game at 15 fps or something...

Unrelated, but I noticed they still also haven't added DLSS. I feel like this game should be labelled "early access" or whatever, as it doesn't feel like it was ready for release.

Dlss is mentioned in the settings BUT so far fsr is the only thing available yeah..im checking settings after every patch to see if anything changed regarding that. I do think that the first season seems like a wide beta test but honestly i dont really mind since the progress (in the right direction) they are making is really decent in my opinion

Controller support is added, but it's not working very well. There are still parts of the game that require keyboard and mouse, and aiming with controller is so laggy it's not worth using.

You sure you don't have something conflicting with your controller? I have no lag with my Dualsense controller. If you were using a different profile for your controller you may need to set it to a default gamepad.

The community made controller templates are using Keyboard and mouse inputs, so if you're using one it is rapidly switching between the KB+Mouse input, and the controller input which is causing a lagging/stuttering effect.

I don't use profiles, I just have an Xbox controller that Steam detects automatically. I've never had an issue with any other game when switching between controller and m+kb inputs. This is the only game that has a laggy aim when using my controller.

It feels really bad for me, major dead zone that doesn't change with the slider, the acceleration is all over the place and doesn't seem to match what I set it to, defaulting the buttons doesnt work, everything has a delay in button presses, just feels very off regardless of which controller I try and blu tooth vs hardwired etc. The aim feels like I am streaming the game or something.

it's the exact same for me, when I click for example B, I have it set to L it'll switch between them, and closing other apps that might interfere, doesn't change anything, it wasn't doing it a couple hours ago and I've messed around with shaders and Xbox accessories and I'm guessing it's xbox accessories, after using it now the game won't detect steam input.

Some games just dont like steam input, this is one of them, so just disable steam input for this game and the controller should work.
