CONTROLLER SUPPORT!!!!!

Until this game get some Hot Damn controller support, consider this game trash! I mean honestly, MOST gamers started playing video games using a controller and to NOT add controller support is like shutting out over half you audience... I'm not even gonna give this game a try until they get their shii together... Imagine not having controller support being the one thing that makes everyone on steam delete this game from their library...😏🎮💁🏽‍♂️

You are 100% correct, most games I can play on my controller without native support and just change the controls keys in the Steam overlay, this doesn’t even let me do that.

I do want controller support too, tho. Because unfortunately I can't play with mouse and keyboard. Hopefully the devs hear us and add controller support sometime in the future.

Pretty dumb how they managed make it where you can't program a controller in Steam or use a 3rd party like Xpadder. Seems like a very dumb move to say they are waiting till August to add controller support considering for my self I was able to program the controller to use all keys in less than 10 minutes on Steam and Xpadder.

I guess it's because I'm using bazzite or something because I can use the steam inputs overlay and map keyboard to the controller

Damn, a lot of mean people in here. It's 2024. There should be a simple solution linked in here. Not people being disrespectful to someone asking for something that should be included with the game. I'm not using mouse and keyboard because I don't want to. If they want everyone's money, they should have all options.

there are people like me who have issues using keyboard and mouse cause of pain and holding a controller lets me play games for about forty minutes so without that i cant play this

I saw another discussion saying people saw an invert look option for controllers. Did they just not remember to include in their store info that controller is supported? Or is it really lacking controller support?

Under Steam select settings then controller and make sure your controller is enabled. From the Once Human page, select the controller icon on the right. -There you can select a community layout or keyboard and mouse template for your controller. Once you've done that, completely close Steam. After that, Run As An Administrator to open Steam. Once you run the game, your settings should be working. 😐
