Was that not supposed to be a thing from the demo to the full release? I'm getting invalid QR code

Looks like they changed the configurator, I got the same error and trying to recreate my character I'm seeing missing options. Hair colors were definitely removed, there had to have been a color picker since I had purple highlights and now that isn't an option.

I am able to import my newly created character but it doesn't save everything, the hair color is different.

Yeah seeing as how beta is ended you cannot recover a character made during it. You can now make a new character and save it and it will function properly. I have confirmed dyed hair is now "paid" using the "Butterfly Dye" item which they give users 3 of for compensation for multiple-character. If you go to the floor mirror which you can create in your base, you should be able to save your look as well.

Word of warning - they've mentioned returning the color wheel to the character creator, since players have been complaining about its removal.

Given how things tend to go.. I would anticipate that change breaking the current saved QR codes again, so I would advise everyone to start writing down their settings if they care about preserving them.

Good suggestion! I can't come close to replicating my character from the demo so far sooo... I'm in agony.
