Maybe this is all it is, just weird people with nothing to say trying to farm Steam points through recycled copy pasted humor? Seems weird though. Anyone actually tried this game yet? I'm currently waiting for the 50GB download to finish. Figured I'd ping the ether and see how everyone's experience has been since none of the reviews are by real human beings.
cry harder
Hrs played - 0.1hrs = 6 minutes
2-3 of which was loading the game up , Menu screen/intro/char creation and settings in the menu.
They have to be paid by other devs surely?
I am installing the game now to see how the live version is.
tl;dr version: It's basically bad timing, along with the frustration of the thumbs down flooding from people who haven't even begun to play.
Details:
It could very well be that your review is thoughtful and has good points (I haven't read it), but coming at a point where the game just launched and people are seeing a whole bunch of trolls flooding negative reviews without legitimate complaints, just because the game is free and they can do that, that people who support the game are looking for a way to express their frustration.
So many people are angered by the negative review flooding for a game 99% of the reviewers barely turned on, that if you've already made a negative review this early after launch and you're one of the people that has allowed comments from strangers, they're going to take out their frustration on you.
If you did say you were a beta player during the review, it's still hard for people to buy someone was a beta player just because they claim so. Everyone is used to false claims online, and so they're going by the play time the Steam review shows (I'm in no way claiming you're not a beta tester, from reading another post of yours, I assume you are telling the truth).
I would turn off the ability for strangers to leave commends on your profile for now, and either turn off comments on the review or just don't read them at this point.
Don't worry about what other people write if it is stupid. Be strong. Not weak.
I'm not worried about a thing, I make my own mind up about games I play. I just was curious about these weird reviews, and to see if there were any real human beings who've played this to see what the general vibe was. It's simple curiosity, not worry or concern.
This is actually good advice, if a game is bad, it should earn it's bad reputation. People leaving meme reviews for no reason, just to farm points and awards is morally wrong.
Since there's an addition couple of GB to download after the 50GB initial download, I have a few moments to report the redditors who are leaving irrelevant reviews.
I played it when it was in beta like a month ago. It's a pretty fun 3rd person shooter game but nothing special. I was hoping for controller support on release but there isn't so idk if I'll keep playing it.
Also to the rest of the thread, both negative and positive reviews that are making jokes are cringe people. just focus on the ones that say something useful and stop taking up forum space complaining about it to cope.
