controller support

Do you know if it will eventually have controller support? Looking at the radial menus that were in the beta, it would seem ridiculous to me if there weren't

From the things that I've read, the devs won't have pad support at launch. Unfortunate.

It’s nonsense if it will be on consoles but not support controller on pc

It isn't releasing on consoles. Atleast not on the 9th and mobile has also been delayed.

I play every game on my account with an Xbox elite controller or the steam controller. I don’t understand how come nobody uses big picture mode after you do it and make your layouts you get better at making them to the point. Every game is playable. I can’t use mouse keyboard anymore for more than 20 minutes without being in pain, but that didn’t stop me and learned how to do this with the controller as long as software doesn’t look like the steam overlay or controller input is cheap. It works on about 95% of the games on steam problems are ones that have launcher that the steam controllers a hit or miss or the Xbox Using big picture mode

Q14. Will Once Human support controllers and Steam Deck at launch?

Due to ongoing technical adjustments, Once Human does not support controllers and Steam Deck at launch. Our development team is actively working on changes to bring controller support as soon as possible. We expect to complete this by August.


Well so much for that. Obviously it wasn't going to be ready otherwise people would be able to test it during the beta. everyone was like it'll be ready at launch.. what a crock.

I tried using a controller in Beta 3 and didn't work. So, I asked some streamers and people on Twitch about controller support, and many said that controller support would be available at the official launch. Well, It's launch day and still no controller support. There is even a section in the settings with a controller tab, yet it does nothing. How can a company release a video game, at launch without controller support? Do they want to make money or not? I was excited since I've never played the game. Only watched hours of it on Twitch. I guess I can't play the game until there is official controller support. This is very unfortunate.

Yeahthey have even removed the controller supported tag that was on the steam page before it released

No they have blocked all support even 3rd party like Xpadder. I refuse to play till they fix this because the game is clucky as is without controller support.

I agree this is a crock of ♥♥♥♥♥, they just have it disabled. It only took me 10 minutes on Steam to map all their controls.
