This might shock you but one of the reasons I chose NOT to play TFD is because combat swimsuits and skintight outfits are dumb. They're boring, over done and exist purely to make money off shallow thirsty people.

If you've seen one combat swimsuit, you've seen them all.

The other reason is because Nexon is a horrible company that actively lies to it's players to make money. Go google "Nexon Maplestory Lawsuit" if you don't believe me.

as someone who put 12 hours in the original beta and 5 hours into its current release, First Descendants just isn't as satisfying a game. there's clearly some potential in it, but the game is quite frankly, the entirety of the world space feels like a macro-liminal space. the entire set of combat zones feel transient, unreal, static. there is nothing living out there except when someone else triggers a mission and the odd 4 basic mooks "patroling"
what i want is the gameplay of The First Descendant with the world space and fun of, and i dread invoking the name, Destiny 2.
Destiny 2, for all of its flaws, and Lord knows its pretty much all of it, does a few things outstandingly. the world space feels alive, inhabited by the various factions and its different combatants. the best example of this is when you see two groups of enemies engaging each other, like The Hive and The Fallen, engaging in a firefight on their own. if you've never seen a Hive Knight use its stomp against a group of Dregs who then get ragdolled away only for a duo of Vandals come in stealth with the electro-spears and simultaneously stab him from the back and see the knight get murked in the process only for Hive Dropships to bring in reinforcements, which then themselves get blasted by the Fallen Captain with a scorch cannon. I watched this happen through the scope of trash legendary sniper i picked up minutes before.
sometims, its just nice to observe wildlife in its natural state.
