Wipes exist for one reason: because it's easier for the developer. The reason developers embrace a seasonal model is because it places more burden on the player and less on the developer. They can create less and have you, the player, just restart a character over and over and over again and call it content.
Unfortunately it is a thing. The game is seasonal and seasons last 6 weeks.
i would like to see that in other games as well to be honest, repetitive content is killing games maybe this will be a change
This not the kind of game that really benefits from resets. It doesn't have the depth necessary to make leveling up your character multiple times feel different. There aren't different classes to try, etc.; all you're going to get is some different lore and a few events each season. The portion of the world map open to players will differ from season to season but it won't take long before they start repeating the same regions.
