Honestly... It could be worse. What do you think?
Normal battle pass (maybe U$10) and Premium battle pass (maybe U$25) basically gives you a lot of cosmetics for character, base, weapons ..., Only basic loot with keys earned in battle pass and some cosmetics.
Free battle pass gives you some pretty cool things including starchrom.

Real money currency is full of cosmetics. (some seems reeeaally cool)

and... monthly $U5, for some advantages with time shortened and costs in eternaland and some currency for cosmetics.

I guess it's a fair support for season and maybe monthly due to the fun I had in the demo.

I guess the first season I'll see it as a paid game... really would pay $25 to buy it. Some AAA games don't deliver the fun I had in 7 days. late demo player. and costs a lot more.

I don't mind 'Monthly' or ideally longer periods of battle passes on a free game, I see it as the META for any live service game that is looking to stay around for a serious run.

battlepass is only active for 1 server at a time? purchased battle pass np..my buddy couldn't join the server ok so i jump onto another server with him now battlepass is locked i have to buy for each server? highway robbery
