You wont be able to upgrade your base

Common sense but don't build your base too close to someone elses. Neither of you will be able to unlock tier 2 and you'll need tier 2 for later stuff. I'm stuck in my tier 1 base cos I got a very close neighbor.

The devs: The maps are not big enough for this type of circus. You should limit sizes or expand map.

I'm also watching with horror how some solo players build monster big bases. You don't need a super big base starting out. Just make room for a couple of work benches and a
garage. Make a second floor and place water and stuff on the roof. I'm not sure if the size or amount of foundations etc makes a difference in rendering and performance, compared to games like Conan but it looksweird to see gamers behave like this on servers.

Bro their is so much room to build a house, I went off to the boonies and spent an hour looking for the perfect spot in like a level 18 zone while you and the rest of the sheep spent 2 min looking for a place.

I also built in a remote location starting out being smart about it. All of a sudden 2 other players had surrounded my base with boxes and now appear to have logged out lol. I'm not even close to resources they just wanted to play copy cats.
