You Are Not the Owner. Cannot Repair.
What? I'm in my base, trying to repair the Bow I got, how do I do it?

Oh, I didn't know that.

This makes sense, but, they should disallow upgrading and modding found weapons as well then, or make it clear on the item card that it's a disposable item.

Yeah, they should disallow us to upgrade the weapons, or else we are just wasting resources. Good to know it's Beta and everything will be wiped, I would be angry if I spend a lot of rare and important resources on weapon upgrading just to know I would have to disassemble it anyways.

You can get some of those resources spent back if you recycle the item at least. Also it may seem like stardust is very limited, but you actually end up getting tons of it.

In the long run it might be an annoyance to waste some, but it wont actually hurt you overall.

Yep, I maxed out a found SMG, then went to repair it a few hours later and kicked myself for not thinking of that.

I mean... The game doesn't teach that, everyone will learn the hard way. As I said, good thing it's Beta, but then I wonder what more things the game doesn't teach us and we'll learn the hard way.

For a game coming from Communist Country, this is suck a disapointment. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OUR GUN

The only thing that I'd like is if they said "Dropped item" in the description in the repair screen. It shows in the gear screen and item window but *not* in the repair screen, which of course is the only place where it's actually important to know! Dumb mechanic if you ask me.

The game should teach you that in some way. The moment you get a dropped item, it should tell you something like "You FOUND a new item, found items don't belong to you, so you can't repair" something basic and simple, easy to understand.

I consider all found weapons and armour to be recyclable, I don't even bother using them, its not worth the time or effort in even looking at them.

Not even sure why they bothered adding weapons and armour to the drop table, they are not even good enough to be rewards for the silly amount of ammo required to kill end game mobs.

It's pretty dumb honestly.

We can recycle into scraps a weapon we don't own, but god forbid we ever try to repair it...

Agreed. They are useless waste of space\loot, useful at first few levels at best, and you can level up to 20 and do all rifts with a starter rifle and crossbow, no drop firearms needed

i mean it shows a icon for items that are dropped and the icon means dropped item so they kinda already do that..
