Does it get challenging in any way?
This isn't a dig at the game or some sort of e-peen stroke, I'm just wondering as most open world encounters so far have had poor AI and they're easy to melt even with the crossbow that you start with at the beginning.

I've started using guns for the sake of variety at this point, but I imagine the guns serve better in more mid - endgame stuff?

Just curious is all.

salty meat huh? Jun 12, 2024 @ 2:46am
It does get more challenging over time the more you level up and in more high level areas. I will say tho, they do need to improve the AI's a bit.

I played cbt3 every single day it was on... about 12 hours every day. I never finished the last boss in the last Dungeon (LEA LABS). It was simply that hard. So hard that I didnt bother with it.

Of course there was a dude on YT who soloed it though... but that doesn't mean the content was easy. (I will say that its just the perfect amount of hard.. its a goal to work towards, you know?)

That's fair, glad it does get challenging so there's a reason to actually place your camp down and whatnot.

Appreciate the responses, thanks.

Ive found the horde events challenging.... To be fair the 2 different ones I tried I didnt understand/was first go so I didnt have fortifications built to deal with it. *shrug*

The last two dungeons (LEA and the menda-whatever guy) are hard. The entire rest of the game is roll your face across the keyboard and win easy.

Probably not since its a mobile game lol. Looks just like Undawn with a slightly different theme and games similar to that. Seems like those weird time gated "games" like Undawn unless you pay to skip to get stronger your gonna fall behind. Mobile "gaming" is cancer and they seem more like casinos then actual games. I hope this game isn't the same thing to me it looks like it since its a mobile game mainly looking at the website.

Not unless you have a time machine and can go back and play the game in its earlier beta stages, before all the complexity and difficulty was beaten out of it by a combination of community feedback and a developer who thought the easiest way to becoming "game of the year" was listening to everyone who complained about any semblance of challenge.

It does not matter if the last 1% of the game presents a challenge if the prior 99% of the game doesn't, especially when the game is using a 6 week seasonal reset model that results in you having to repeat that first 99% over and over and over again.

Couldn't agree more, but let's hope they buff what they nerfed.
