Game is too easy
(I will say this one last time, if this game dumbs down the difficulty to make it accessible to fathers & mothers, grandmothers & grandfathers, uncles & aunties with 2-6 kids, it's not going to do well in the long term.)

Enemies including bosses need to attack way faster and do way more damage, otherwise there is no challenge to play this game. All the cool monster designs would be wasted, they need to pose a legit threat to players. They can't be like attack once, then wait 5-10 seconds before attacking again, and barely do any damage.

Also why are the bikes so slow?

one more thing, the bus monster thing is a huge disappointment, you can't attack it, it doesn't attack you, what is the point of adding it into the game. That thing looks so cool but then it doesn't do anything.

Well there are only 2 possible pathways/outcomes for Once Human:

1) It caters fully to casuals and completely turns off real gamers. Nothing in the game is remotely challenging, nothing is scary, it's all casual and relaxing. I don't think that's a bad thing, but I'm not gonna play the game for more than a week, there are so many new games coming out, like it's really hard to get attached to one particular game, especially to a game that has no difficulty. But Once Human could turn out to be the new Palworld, a megahit.

2) Once human becomes an actual survival game that offers decent challenges to both new and existing players, progressing through the game is no longer gonna be a walk through the park. Some of the casuals will be pissed off and ragequit, they will return to their favourite games called Genshin Impact & Candy Crush. Real gamers will rejoice at the fact that the game is actually fun to play, they will love this game and stick with it for a long time.

It's entirely up to the developers what they want.

The game only gets harder around level 30 and the last area of the map is hard, the dungeons and events get harder as well.
But overall, that happens because its a team game, not because of proper balance

lol says game is too easy complaining about slow bike when his bike is not upgraded. lol how about you play more and fix the prob yourself till you start getting your butt kicked by the ai’s

The game ended up being like this after so many complained that it was too hard during the BETAs. In the second BETA, things were harder in beginning than it is now. Which got changed in the third BETA due to a lot of people complaining that it was too hard. So sadly, they listen to a lot of the players and changed it.

So half of the game is basically a long ass tutorial, and the "real" game won't start until you hit level 30. What a nice way to attract new players.

They really turned this game into a completely casual game.
considering all that money they spent to sponsor those big streamers with massive sweaty gamer fanbase, what a waste.

I noticed the game is going the casual route when they started to add the "deviants" ,basically pals into the game.

Really, unless it's actually impossible, complaints about a game being too difficult in a beta should be noted, but not acted upon. Of COURSE people are going to struggle in the early days, until strategies and mechanics are fully worked out. Every MMO has this same problem, a small bunch of vocal people make a lot of noise about the game being too hard, so they nerf it and/or dumb it down, and they lose the core sweaty playerbase. WOW is a prime example of this, in that heroic raids were too hard for some vocal people, so they turned them down, and had to add mythics to keep the sweats interested.

Well the issue here is reversed though where people yell that its too easy

Which is the result of listening to people with a few hours in the game saying it's too hard. If the game is easy for this many people after such a short time, then it's going to be even more laughably easy once everything is figured out.

Good. Glad it's pretty relaxing. I like to get on relaxing games and do mindless things. Nothing wrong with it. I play a ton of try hard games and I think that these kind of games need to exist.

Not every single game in existence needs to be challenging to fuel your ego. Also, there are points in the game where it is KIND of challenging. Again, this is just basically the tutorial. A demo.

Easing players in to the game is exactly how to attract new players. How is that something you do not understand?

exactly, this is a survival game at its core. Would people prefer to run around carefree or have some real sense of danger? I prefer running around knowing I can be killed by monsters if I let my guard down.

Also some of the bigger monsters look very intimidating, but they die so quickly, it just breaks the immersion. It's like that thing is 10-20 times your size, but then you can kill it under 10 seconds. absolutely ridiculous
I work all day and like the game being EZ and relaxing go play Soulmask and crank setting up to high if you want hard and let us have fun

CBT 1/2/3 participant here and OP is not wrong. The game is laughably easy now since changes made for cbt 2. All of the systems that were in place with any depth (such as the containment system) were neutered to the point that they may as well not exist at all. Creatures were nerfed to be nothing but fodder and bosses were re-worked to be so easy that even the most incompetent and under geared geared player can still solo them.

This problem continues throughout the entire game. The hard modes are a joke, the hardest modes are still solo-able and the only two locations with any real challenge to them at all are the final two raid style boss dungeons.

I was so hyped for this game but the casualness has put me off, the devs don't know that appealing to casuals is the worst idea since they will just chase the next shiny new thing that comes out. Real shame
