it's a demo, ofc I'm not gonna progress all the way to the end game, if there's one. The initial impression is very important for a game, I don't care if it's just low tier mobs, they shouldn't be that easy.
And a lot of people will play the game for an hour or so and then make a decison to continue play the game or not based off of their experience in the 1st hour.
Really enjoyed the visual and story design more than I thought I would, but the fact that all of the monsters in the first few hours of the game might as well not exist at all is just a huge turn off.
exactly, this is a survival game at its core. Would people prefer to run around carefree or have some real sense of danger? I prefer running around knowing I can be killed by monsters if I let my guard down.
Also some of the bigger monsters look very intimidating, but they die so quickly, it just breaks the immersion. It's like that thing is 10-20 times your size, but then you can kill it under 10 seconds. absolutely ridiculous
Maybe a good thing cause you have to get in to this game but if you see any greater enemys... actually dodge and shoot playstyle.
Mechanics are dumb. Projectiles that following the player and some "hide behind a object" mechanic. Default shooter problems.
Already found this in apple app store and i dont think ill play this in july cause of ff14 release - Its okay but for me actually nothing more: a filler game
The whole game used to be a lot more challenging than it is currently. Once Human's first boss was actually wiping groups. "Bring a team and at least a thousand ammo each!" used to be the first piece of advice everyone would offer, and getting the components needed for ammunition back then at the early levels was a lot of work. Now in this demo I had more ammunition than I knew what to do with within a few minutes of leaving the tutorial.
People were complaining the game was too hard and grindy in CBT2. I personally enjoyed it. The developers took their feedback and swung the pendulum way too hard in the opposite direction, and for CBT3 a common complaint was that the game was way too easy. The demo hasn't changed that.
The problem is that people who were complaining were the mobile players, they play the game on their phones, so ofc everything is hard for them. I saw the developer posted something like lowering the difficulty in the game, but that was a really bad move, at least for the PC version. They have to increase the difficulty for the PC version, otherwise it is too casual. Sweaty gamers are what's gonna keep this game alive long after it's initial launch.
I do think the phone version of this game led to some of the issues I have with it, but to be fair back in CBT2 when people were complaining about harsh difficulty everyone was playing on a PC, the mobile app wasn't an option yet.
Nah, bad take. This is an mmo (kind of), imagine someone killed a mob before you arrived and then you have to wait 5 minutes just for it to spawn. Lol. And the resources should be abundant in the game, I don't want to spend most of my time looking for resources. I want to explore and kill strong monsters.
oh okay, I saw some people uploading videos of them playing Once Human on their phones, so I thought it was just difficult for mobile players, maybe I was wrong. I think people really had no clue how to play the game back in CBT2, the game was not hard at all. Now the game is partialy ruined by the casuals. I still have hopes for the game though, we'll see.
