Stuck on 'Download file is being verified'

Anyone else trying to open the demo and stuck on Download file is being verified screen? It's stuck at 0% and not moving for the past 30mins.

So I think I figured it out, the "Demo" is actually for the Open Beta that is happening on the 10th. So it won't be working right now.

100% the same problem. Stuck on 0% for the last 30+ minutes. Using 20%+ of my cpu, 30%+ of my gpu and a constant stream of network data being downloaded but no change in percentage!

Yea looks like you're correct. This was technically a "pre-load" for the beta that starts on the 10th.

I got it to work after a time but the servers don't open until the 10th. You can change settings etc. - just can't log in.

so...this was supposed to start at midnight 6/10m which should be 8pm the previous day where I live...annd all servers are still under maintenance?

mine works lol just cant open into a server, so its not this

They're quoting UTC 10am in my game. But when you look at the servers in the selection screen, they say the maintenance is until 5pm UTC. I do not believe the devs know how clocks work. Maybe my mum was right about the need to learn analogue clocks before I could get a digital watch in the 80s after all?

This is an omnishambles and does not speak well of the company. Not that Netease have a reputation any better than Electronic Arts, or Sony. I mean, they can't be as bad as Sony can they? Right. Right?
