This is NetEa$e we're talking about...
I have no hope for a Cosmetic Only monetization.
Suffice to say this game has to watch out for their kind if it decides to go truly f2p.
Be warned.
Also, they are the kind of people who are problematic reporters, pve carebears, and will ask for stuff to get easier and easier. They fit the entire couch potato profile. The worst part is they will bleed your resources dry as they are fulltime gamers.
You open the f2p barn door for these people and just ... be ready. Take what they say with a grain of salt.
Don't heed my warning and you will get the problematic reporters killing the game's population like they did in Warframe and SWL/TSW. They turn everything into an old folk's home.
While it is NetEase, that's just the publisher, and the devs have said "The game will be Pay2Win over our dead bodies" and "If Netease wants to put P2W into our game themselves, they can buy us out and gut the studio"

This says it all :)
Battlepass already in the works. Was fully functional during CB3 for Chinese players.
