It will wipe after CBT is complete
"When seasons end players will be able to stay in the world to complete objectives and have fun and can choose to move on when ready" etc. No idea if that means wipe or just moving on to the next area/season map.
But this isn't some survival PVP game. It's an MMO. This is not going to be anything like rust friend.
Not full, you will have private island to which you can take some stuff.
The whole "When seasons end players will be able to stay in the world to complete objectives and have fun and can choose to move on when ready" etc. comment needs additional context. You have to keep in mind that once the season ends the characters on that server are essentially occupying a dead server.. no new content will be added to it, and people will be moving on to chase the FOMO rewards from the next season on a new server with the new season.
It's also unrealistic to expect them to keep the lights running on a server indefinitely just for a few holdouts that stubbornly won't leave after the season has ended.
Your character retains all non-pnemetic blueprints meaning all your found armor and weapon blueprints + their star / upgrade level carry over. All your weapon accessories and mods carry over. The armor / gear mods from dungeons are listed as carrying over. Any found furniture blueprints such as the chest shelving racks carry over. Your currency like starchrom carries over.
What gets wiped is your character level. Building materials. And certain currencies. The weapons and armor you've crafted and upgraded (remember you keep your blueprints so you can re-craft these next season).
There is a currency you can get that will allow you to bring over some things that would have been wiped. This currency is earned in game on Eternaland. Depending on what the wiped item is that you want to carry over will have a certain currency cost to is. It's something sand - forget the name.
Our characters now simply become tools we use to chase down the next set of FOMO unlockables introduced with each season. I am no longer enjoying a game or immersive experience, we are instead mice chasing down the cheese in the maze.
Being able to hoard some of my acquisitions from each maze-run doesn't really make it any better, it just makes the mouse feel more like a pack rat.
This isn't a dedicated PVP game like RUST or Tarkov where server resets do make sense and are needed nor was this seasonal stuff ever advertised, heck if it wasn't for the forums I never would have known this because the devs scumming didn't mention this very big fact about their game or the store front where 90 percent of people looked.
even Diablo 4 knew it couldn't do perma wipes across the board they have wipe servers and they have perma servers and thats diablo four.
I could understand for pvp servers but pve naw
yep wipes every 6 weeks.... there isnt enough content for 6 weeks anyway.... yep there will be full pvp servers.... the pve ones all we got now and they have pvp zones, yup the game is setup for whales but who care your goin to play pve anyways.... all the cheaters will go to pvp by themselves .... the game is dumb a pointless but it looks real nice and the monsters are realy cool....
Unfortunately most of the details about Once Human and its seasonal model were tucked away in its Discord server. I really wish developers would stop using that service as a means to communicate with and collect feedback from players, as it's ill suited for that function.
There was a lot of pushback when the seasonal model was first announced, which eventually led to the development and announcement of Eternaland. But that feature was short on details and communicated so poorly to players that many mistook it for a permanent server option and with that the pushback largely died off. Also, people were hesitant to criticize the developers at all because back then scoring a slot in the beta was like obtaining a golden ticket to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Beta testers were hesitant to rock the boat.
