PVE only mode?

You can flag yourself as PVP at level 11 and there also seem to be small zones where PVP is always active (whether you are flagged or not), I've only seen one of these areas so far though so not sure how many there are.

on pvp servers after lvl 10 your open dont need to flag

so very limited pvp ? which is fine i may still try it out but coming from dayz not having the risk of pvp encounters will make this game feel bland

As far as I'm aware, the beta has only PvE servers. At launch (Q3 2024), the plan is to have both. PvE servers will have a PvP area(s) where one can complete tasks/events for rewards. PvP servers will be open-world PvP similar to Rust. Players can raid your base, loot your resources from your corpse, etc.

I would rather it be strictly PvE & PvP servers. Having a PvE servers with forced PvP zones are only appealing to level X and the rest is complaint about no players after level x.

Keeping them strict will give full appeal to the 2 types. The inbetweeners should choose.

That's currently all that's open in the beta. No PVP servers exist yet. Pvp is an option on the PVE servers in certain places and for certain activities.

They'd have to remove the extraction sites completely. The point is for warbands to fight over them. Plenty of people love doing PVE content with the option of getting into PVP in battlegrounds and such. I am one of those people.
