I've currently got the launcher running as a non-steam game through Steam/ProtonDB on Proton Experimental.

Playable, but performance optimisation is pretty average, but that may improve the closer we get to the official launch on steam.

Which GPU do you have? I'm on AMD with RADV Mesa and once I get past the prologue and enter "the real world" almost everything renders black. Character Editor and Prologue works well though. :/

When I first loaded the open game world I got the black texture bug, then after some switching up of the ingame graphics settings and resetting the client, it worked for 3 days, then went back to being black again.

Haven't worked out how to clear the bug since though.

I would highly appreciate if i could play Once Human on linux on release.
It is sad to see, that sometimes (not that often anymore thankfully) publishers or developers simply seem to block the participation of linux/steamdeck players in their games.
This does not limit my game choices much anymore, but it is always nice when games run on linux too.

Currently downloading the launcher and hoping for the best. ;)

I will also play this game if it runs on Linux, otherwise I will simply stay away.
NetEase is Chinese though, so I highly doubt they read the English forums.

That being said, Linux is kind of huge in China, so there is hope. Isn't the entire Chinese government running their own Linux version or something? Don't quote me on that one lol.

I play on fédora for now on an nvidia 3070 and i got the same result as Abyssus_j in the lowest graphic mode. But i try the fist boss (forget his name) witch is in an instance dungeon and there everythins all right no more black world.

So if dungeions are ok may be we can have hope for the world

How you start game? When I try to log into the server I get an error. How did you launch?

How you start game? When I try to log into the server I get an error. How did you launch?

I launch with this command :
"/home/USER_NAME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/3669846799/pfx/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/ONCE_HUMAN_LAUNCHER/launcher.exe"

And i use proton expérimental

Yes, I already figured it out, there were problems with black textures if you run an experimental one through a proton.
I managed to solve everything through lutris-GE-Proton-8-25-x86_64 with Enable DXVK, VDK3D, D3D Extras and DXVK-NVAPI/DLSS (all default version).
Works perfect with mangohud and Fsync, gamemode. Stable 60 fps at 2k

Can you explain how you install it on lutirs ? i try but the launcher won't start.
The installer work, but after that when i try to start launche nothing appear.

Check log in lutris. Maybe you set incorrect setting.
